Memories... What a decade of our lives. A decade that changed our lives.

We learned to dance, play sports, leave the comfort of our elementery school class and move to Junior High and then on the High School. We learned to form new friendships and interests. We had summer jobs, we learned to drive, go on dates and go to our Prom, and then on one late June afternoon at Hampton Street Field we graduated from Mineola High School.

The next fall many of us entered college, business school, new jobs or the military. Later that fall President Kennedy was assinated and we all know where we were when we learned. 1964 was also the year we began to hear about a war in far away Vietnam and how it might impact some of us. We were quickly growing up.
