2010 Florida Mini Reunion held in The Villages...

The 2010 Florida Group's Mini Reunion was held Saturday, February 27, 2010. Hosted by Jeanette (Quenzer) and Ken Boyer. Janet and I arrived Saturday afternoon at the Boyers home on a dreary winter day, rather uncommon for this time of year here. Nothing is better at changing the weather than a afternoon with all friends and this was the case once again. I needed some cheering up and the magic worked once again. As is always the case we all had a marvelous time. Our thanks to Jeanette and Ken for hosting the Mini Reunion at there beautiful home in Summerfield, Florida.

We move the location for the Florida Mini Reunion around the state each year and so far we have been fortunate to have classmates that have come forward to host an the afternoon reception and facilitate dinning arrangements. In 2011 the Florida Mini Reunion will return to the West Coast, hosted by Carl and Janet Petersen in Sarasota, Florida. We would like to have our Florida Mini Reunion return to the East Coast in 2012 and welcome offers of a classmate who would like to host that event.

As always, we welcome our sister classes Mineola HS '60 - '66 and look forward to seeing all of you there again.
