The Newsletter... Keeping all of us connected.

Recently, we had an exchange of ideas searching for a "right idea" which could extend our reach to more of our classmate community, help find those we haven't located and something we could send regularly to classmates that do not have email. Additionally, something that would point our class member community back to the web site often so everyone would be informed and particpate in class events and enjoy the web site as a resource. As Gene Borstel so aptly put it this web site "provides us with a 24/7 virtual Reunion." That quote has become our tag line.

The idea was a Class Newsletter that mailed out to everyone we had an address for several times a year. "Mineola '63 News" is the solution and is a collaborative effort with Kathy (Kwiatkowski) Madden. Kathy has vastly superior production and distribution capability and other very necessary editing skills. We won't know who is going to do what issue to issue as we are approaching this effort creatively. Our thoughts are to do this as a short quarterly publication. Thank you, Kathy, from the entire class.

The Newsletter is our conventional print and mail front-end to the web site where "All" the information will be found for Class News, activities and events as well as good amount of just pure intertainment. For those class members that technology does not reach, with the contact information provided in the Newsletter, they can call or write and I will be pleased to provide them with more information.

I think your will agree this is a excellent idea and will prove to be well recieved and certainly will meet it's entended goals... It's just a good idea.

There is huge amount of content avaiable for you to enjoy on the web site . Take your time and importantly, return often. Join us for our class events or just Send an email or sign in at the Guestbook. We want to know how you are doing.

All of us from the our Class Officers, The Reunion Committee, Kathy and I need your feedback to keep this resource getting better and better and pointed forward.
