Kathy (Kwaitkowski) Madden and Maureen Sbarra get together... Then again with Jim and Mimi Litterelle.
"It's official - Mo (Maureen Sbarra) has been found. She is alive and well and living in Boca Raton about 1/2 hour from me (Kathy). We had a delightful dinner and talked for about 2 1/2 hours." Two weeks later Maureen, Kathy and Jim and Mimi Litterelle met and spent an afternoon and evening together.

The Best Reunion of All...
Kathy (Kwiatkowski) and Son Bryan arrives home from Kuwait "There was a lot of excitement in the hanger anticipating the arrival of their plane. A lot of waving and cheering as the plane touched down. Bryan said "You should have heard the cheering on the plane when it touched down". A lot of hugging and crying and new babies."

Pam (Moore) Proctor's New Book Is Published
Pam emailed me to let us know that her new book, Points of Light: A Celebration of the American Spirit of Giving has been published. "The book, which I co-authored with Robert Goodwin, president of the Points of Light Foundation, and Thomas Kinkade, the artist, features the stories of some of America’s most inspiring volunteers. Former President George Bush wrote the foreword. |

"I have just found it a little more difficult to remember birthdays with the arrival of Richard Robert Schmeelk III to son Richard & daughter-in-law Lori on January 18 (7lb 2oz). Then came Rachael Alexandra to daughter Melissa on March 13 (8lb 2oz) and finally Antonio Gene to daughter Deborah on April 2 (9lb 7oz). The only one not active this year is son Daniel. With the other seven grandchildren, Kamaria (16), Amanda (10), Anna(9), Adaleena (4), Christopher (4), Selena (4) and Susanna (2), it makes for a full house during the holidays". Regards, Melodie

He is Nicholas Nephew, age almost 6... The school is Riviera Christian Academyin the St. Pete area... and he looks almost like his dad, my son Jon at that age....

To everything there is a season. Collin James Bushart arrived at 3:32 AM April,13, 2006. Mother and baby and also Dad,(and Grandmother) are doing well. I will make sure his parents, Chris and Beth, rock him to the Mineola '63 jukebox.

Barbara Damon sent me a picture of her son PO/3 Mike Damon who is serving in the US Navy. He is detailed with guard duty probably at end of one of the gangways (the entry and exit point for the ships company) to his ship The USS Curtis Wilbur in port in Japan. Since he is dressed in Blues it is cold there when this picture was taken.

Kathy (Kwiatkowski) Madden and her son Bryan celebrate Christmas at Kathy's home in Sunrise, FL. Bryan, a member of the Naval Reserve is one of about 200 U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to Mobile Inshore Undersea Warfare Two Zero Seven (MIUW 207). He will be deployed for a year tour of duty in the Persian Gulf based in Kuwait supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Phil and Ida Meringolo Move To FLorida
Phil and Ida moved from Long Island to Poinciana, Florida in early December, 2005. Retirement in sunny Florida is all it is cracked up to be. Phil and Ida are a short two hours plus from Carl Petersen and Kathy (Kwaitkowski) Madden, Pam (Moore) and Proctor, Steve Nephew and Arline (Federico) Kern. We'll all be able to visit Phil and Ida and Disney too. (Its only a Half hour away.
