In 1957 I saved up enough money and purchased a Yashica 8mm movie camera. During the next year I filmed a number of local scenes including this sequence of movies of Christmas time at the Petersen home and around our neighborhood. I never saw these movies as I did not have enough money to purchase a projector or screen. The films sat in canesters in our attic in New York all that time and finally surfaced going through boxes with our retirememnt to Florida. Our daughter Christina had them transfered into a DVD this past year. I was finally able to view them. So, here is Chritmas 1958.
