If you are sending any information to me for the website either in an email or via a CD, here are some guidelines.
Graphics: Should be either .bmp, .jpg, .gif, .tif, .psd, .pict, or .png files, though I prefer .jpg files if you have the option.
Text Documents: I am not picky. If I can read it in an email I can work with it.
Editing: I reserve the right to edit content that is presented on the website. Then someone else will have to check my spelling.
Technical stuff: The site is hosted on unix/php/mysql servers. I use Adobe's CS 5 Suite, as much open source scripting as I find which actually works and a liberal amount of hand coding. As time goes on, there will be less of the hand coding... hopefully.
Feedback...
Your feedback is very important. It is through your feedback that I get a feel for the job that I'm doing. And it keeps me motivated. I was particularly taken with Gene Borstel's observation and his comment, in a guestbook I once used, " that this website is now a virtual 24 X 7 reunion". Our reunions are truly special so I assume Gene gets that same feeling from visiting the website. I must be doing something right! That concept of the 24x7 reunion is my 'tag-line' now for much of the inspiration for our website.
